As fashion week in New York draws to a close, it has been a week to show us all just how much the whole structure of the fashion show itself is changing. From interactive presentations and q&a's with models to Instagram collection debuts, the fashion shows as we know it is seriously evolving. But most importantly of all, fashion week is all about showcasing the upcoming trends for the next season.
So for Autumn Winter 2016 we can expect gothic and broody collections, full of layers upon layers of unexpected textures. Look forward to clashes of feminine ruffles draped over gothic black lace and sheer trims aplenty. The influence of dark victorian trends is still certainly hanging around, but this time, paired with a pinch of punk rocker chic too.
