Moving on from the cold shoulder cut out we've seen over the last few months, AW16 will see our shoulders and sleeves going into excess to make up for it. The silhouette for AW16 has gone big, so expect billowing shoulders and sleeves full of voluminous ruffles and frills.

Whilst in the past ruffles have had a decidedly victorian twist. The new season opens up the way for more a modern interpretation too, with big minimal frills and sensual lace ruffles.
