midis and
pussy bows too. This brand new update on our AW16 collection has it all.
Whether you want to spruce up your day to day look, pick out that perfect party piece or just take on the latest frill trends, NAVY is here to help. Take a look over all that is new and get your Winter wardrobe in order today.
Whilst we all know that ruffles have been an important trend for the Summer season, these frills are not going anywhere as we move into Autumn Winter 2016. But expect them to be bigger, fuller and more sculptural before.
Moving on from the cold shoulder cut out we've seen over the last few months, AW16 will see our shoulders and sleeves going into excess to make up for it. The silhouette for AW16 has gone big, so expect billowing shoulders and sleeves full of voluminous ruffles and frills.
Whilst in the past ruffles have had a decidedly victorian twist. The new season opens up the way for more a modern interpretation too, with big minimal frills and sensual lace ruffles. But if you are a fan of the darkness AW16 typically brings, not to worry, the gothic yet romantic influence will still be a key look in your Autumn Winter wardrobe.
Time for a fresh drop of NAVY. A whole heap of awesome new NAVY looks have just landed on
ASOS for you guys.
Full of sheer layers, vintage style lace, ruffles, frills and a whole lot more. Time to channel those victoriana trends ladies and mix up that new romantic rock chic style. We're here to see you through the last of the Summer season and transition into the darker Winter months in style.
Taking it dark, Numéro Russia is giving us all the gothic feels and a glimpse at what to expect for Autumn Winter 2016.
Set in an imposing stone church, photographer Francesco Vincenti captures an dark eerie atmosphere, perfect for the darker season. Whilst gothic black lace is always romanticised during the Autumn Winter season, Vincenti's editorial goes to show that white lace can lend itself well to this darker, edgier time of year.
It feels as though Summer as arrived with the temperatures set to rise this weekend. Which reminds us that we really need to get our Summer wardrobe in order!
Blogger
Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad, is often snapped in a perfectly put together lace look that we here at NAVY totally fall for. And these street style snaps from Paris Fashion Week are no different. Giving us inspiration for a kick ass summer look that ticks so many SS16 trends off the list.
This season is all about volume, all about ruffles. Now forget about girlish frills, this season, ruffles have grown up.
It's all about roughing up your ruffles this year. Ruffles for Spring Summer 2016 are here to add bold silhouettes, asymmetric tiered hems, voluminous sleeves and confident detailing to your wardrobe. Clash these traditionally feminine textures with androgynous accessories, edgy sheer layers and chunky bold shoes.
As fashion week in New York draws to a close, it has been a week to show us all just how much the whole structure of the fashion show itself is changing. From interactive presentations and q&a's with models to Instagram collection debuts, the fashion shows as we know it is seriously evolving. But most importantly of all, fashion week is all about showcasing the upcoming trends for the next season.
Gothic influences are still an important influence upon the world of fashion. Photographer Tim Zaragoza and model Victoria Anderson, take a vamped up trip through a derelict mansion for this gothic editorial for Grazia Italy.
Styled in all the best looks from the likes of McQueen, Chanel, Burberry and more. Anderson is the perfect contrast between grunge and sleek high fashion, showing best how lace is the only way to wear this gothic trend from winter through to spring.

Halloween may be over but our love for all things gothic isn't. Everything about this time of year is dark and brooding, and so your wardrobe should be too.
Victoriana influences were key for many designers this AW15, and this is the perfect time of year to bring that touch of gothic glamour to your look.
Think sheer layers, textured lace, long sleeves and high collars to hold onto the bewitching spirit of the time of year and embrace those gothic trends.

Fittingly for the season, many designers took a dark and brooding turn with their Autumn Winter 2015 collections. Calling upon the bewitching and romantic influence of Victorian styling to add a gothic touch to the season.
Invest in high collared styles, gothic lace, dark make-up and sheer layers to bring a touch of this Victoriana influence into your daily wardrobe.
