MFW | AW17 TREND REPORT

Another fashion week done, and Milan didn't disappoint. It was another week of catwalks full of political fashion, bold AW17 styles and also some fun quirky fashion, the only way the Italians can. With so much to chose from, we've picked out our top three collections from MFW to show you how you'll be styling your Autumn Winter 2017 wardrobe.

Dolce and Gabbana
Always a highlight on the Milan Fashion Week schedule. AW17 is another collection full of the extravagant, sexy and fun style. Ticking the boxes of many trends we've seen in Milan for Fall 2017; sheer lace, bras on show, leopard print, florals, oversized sleeves, kitsch animal prints and more.

MSGM
Inspired by the quirky and and ethereal 90s TV phenomenon, Twin Peaks, (back on our screens very soon). A mix of bold colours, oversized ruffles, fun fringed knitwear, lace layers and graphic technicolor prints inspired by the landscape of the Twin Peaks town. Even the red curtains and checkered floor of the chevron was nothing but a 'Red Room' finale scene!

Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini
Again, leopard print and sheer styles were in abundance on the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Autumn Winter 2017 catwalk. This was classic 50s style silhouettes, roughed up with 60s Mod kick ass attitude. A lesson in how to style floaty ruffles, sheer blouses and lace for Winter, with the help of some chunky knits, leather looks and leopard print coats.
