At NAVY, we're all about making lace much more than a delicate feminine fabric. And no one does that better than Jamie Bochert.

The American musician and model is well known for her impossibly high cheekbones and Patti Smith-esque features. Bochert knows how to work the grungey rock star look and this street style snap shows how easy it is to take the gentle fabric of lace, but wear it with some attitude and give it a powerful twist.

We're putting together our Field Day fashion looks. Taking a vintage style lace tee an from our SS15 collection, we're going for a classic festival look this weekend. Teaming with a pair of co-ordinating lace shorts and layering up beneath a green parka coat - because you never know what the British weather will bring.

Bringing the look up to date with a pair of knee high gladiator sandals and a fringed leather bag for added texture. To complete the look, accessorise with a pair of round sunnies and stack up the jewellery to make the look our own.

We're hitting the shops this weekend to invest in some winter layers to get us through the season. As the temperature outside has taken a serious tumble, we're ready to begin layering up with heavy coats, badboy boots and chunky knits to keep us warm.

Wilderness festival in one of the chicest festivals on the summer calendar. A festival of nature, culture and swimming in lakes! Oh and of course some music too.

Held in the grounds of a grand estate in Oxfordshire on the banks of a glorious lake, it is the perfect setting for some sweet festival street style inspiration. If Wilderness 2014 has shown us anything, its that it really is possible to wear all white to a festival and pull it off.

In 1970, the over 500,000 people descended upon the Isle of Wight to see a performance by the one and only Jimi Hendrix. We’re drawn inspiration from this peace-loving and boho era to pull this look together, and you can’t get a true boho look without some fringing! A big trend throughout SS14 and into AW14, we think investing in some awesome fringed pieces now is a great idea.
