There is no doubt that the 80s is one of the most important influences upon the fashion industry this Autumn Winter season. Giving us an even greater reason to listen to some of our favourite music from the 1980s, including all things Siouxsie and the Banshees.

It's Friday. And we're playing some of our favourite tunes in the NAVY office to get us pumped for the long weekend. Including the formidable Sonic Youth, one of the best noisy rock bands to come from NYC in the 80s.

Delivering chaotic guitar riffs and noisy alternative rock, Sonic Youth also delivered us the pinnacle of cool that is Kim Gordon. A woman who has crossed the genres of art, music and fashion. Forever on team Kim.
