New York Fashion is in full swing. So far, we have been transfixed by Gareth Pugh's immersive performance show, a heady mixture of British folklore and futuristic mediums.

We were left dreaming about Tadashi Shoji's sleek and sophisticated collection of flowing lace gowns mixed with boxy lace two-piece style dresses. A soothing and sleek runway show which left us wanting to skip AW14 and throw ourselves head first into Spring. Our other highlight of NYFW so far is Tome's mixture of a lace pencil skirt and mesh bomber jacket. Blending textures and fashion styles and proving just how much it works.

This weekend keep an eye on DKNY's Sunday show. We adored it's punchy pre-collection and hope to see more street smart looks full of texture, layers and attitude.

But this is only the beginning. Bring on London Fashion Week (our favourite of course) followed by Milan and Paris.

We love a savvy street style snap of a fashionista who is rocking the lace to perfection. When we discovered this stylish dresser from Milan Fashion Week last year we fell in love for a multitude of reasons!

This outfit is on bang on point for SS14 in so many ways. Midi’s are the hemline to watch this year. Flirty and stylish, the midi is a great length to show of a bit of leg whilst also keeping the look very sophisticated. But having teamed this with a chic sweatshirt, our street style crush has given her look some edge and is dabbling with the sports luxe trend. A trend which is hanging around throughout 2014/2015. The cut-out shoulders are cheeky and also tick one more box from the SS14 top trend checklist.

Not forgetting the bad ass peep toe booties and the red lipstick for some added punch. Now all we wish is that we could look this awesome all day, everyday!
