NAVY London Blog
With Summer comes festivals. And with festivals comes fashion. Coachella has given us a taster of what's to come, but we're always on the lookout for more sweet festival style to inspire our NAVY girls to get their Summer wardrobes on point.

This street style snap from Byron Bay, Australia last month is the perfect combo of edgy rock and roll, clashed with some delicate lace. With the bonus of some awesome fringing, a key trend this summer festival season.

Come pin with us for lots more festival fashion inspo, and remember to share you lace perfect festival outfits this summer on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

V Magazine takes us back to the glam rock era. Stella Tennant works choppy blonde locks to deliver the rock chick attitude of the 1970s. Wearing layers of leather and lace, over bralets, kimonos and fringing, Tennant even has her very own rock and roller in the form of Justin Gossman.

Get ready to channel 1970s rock and roll, Ziggy Stardust and lots of glam as the trends of this era come back to the surface.

This NYFW streetstyle snap is a lesson in how to toughen up floaty feminine fabrics and bring out your inner punk rock chick in style.

We're always a fan of clashing the harsher textures of leather with floaty lace, but this look takes it a step further. With an oversized studded leather jacket that looks as though it should be straight out of the 70s off the back of a mohawked punk rocker. Channeling our favourite era even down to the Sex Pistols & Ramones patches for the full punk rock vibe.

Layering heavy leather jackets is our number one way to transition our NAVY lace looks through from Winter to Spring. Find more street style inspiration for your weekend looks.

So. Who else is looking forward to the weekend?

You may have seen that last week we were lucky enough to enjoy an erratic and high energy performance from the queen of 90s grunge, Courtney Love. She brought out the inner punk of the NAVY team!

We’ve put together a rocking awesome playlist to get us pumping for the long weekend to begin. It has to, of course, contain a cheeky bit of Courtney. As well as some out our 2014 festival must-sees Wolf Alice, Warpaint and more! So keep it on repeat you NAVY dolls and welcome in the weekend.
