New York Fashion Week has come to a close and given us our first taster what key trends to expect for Spring Summer 2017. NYFW has been a big year for changing the way we view, experience and even purchase catwalk collections. But on the catwalks themselves there are already a few important elements that we know will be big trends for the SS17 season.
With New York Fashion Week coming to a close, we've taken a look back over some of our favourite Spring Sumer 2015 looks from the last eight days.
White is again looking to be a hot colour for the next Spring Summer season. A colour which of course works well with lace textures. We've seen it to be a popular material for the designers in New York for SS15, whether that is lace skirts, maxi dresses, crop tops, vests, capes or just simple lace detailing.

Lace is a reoccurring material for the spring summer season and SS15 is no different. But this season we can expect to see lace styled with more of an edge. Team lace pencil skirts with bomber jackets or lace midi skirts with boxy crop tops. Mix delicate lace with harsher textures and hang on to your AW14 black lace pieces to see you through to SS15 and beyond.
