Glastonbury has come around once more. Now that Summer has officially started (ignoring the odd rain shower of course), Glastonbury festival marks the highlight of Summer for so many.
As hundreds of thousands of revellers make the pilgrimage to Worthy Farm, will you be joining them?
Without a doubt, with over 100 stages across the site, Glastonbury festival certainly have a huge range of acts, artists and music scheduled. This year, with PJ Harvey, Ronnie Spector, Cyndi Lauper, MØ and ELO on the bill it's looking to be a goodie.
At 9pm on Thursday evening, David Bowie unveiled a brand new track, as a teaser for his upcoming album (titled as the symbol ★) to be released around the singers birthday in 2016. Blackstar, with its 10 minute long music video accompanied the release and is a cinematic odyssey, intensely creepy, surreal and depicting a futuristic nightmarish scene.
As avant-garde as you would want from the one and only. We just know that we're going to be spending our weekend re-watching it over and over in an attempt to make sense of the convulsing lace dressed women, withering scarecrows, eerie eyes and melancholic day of reckoning.
With a prominent a jazz influence to this title track, it certainly is a taster of something new from the king of transformation and reinvention. Take 10 minutes out of your day to immerse yourself in Bowie's new release below.
So Queen Bey has just dropped two new tracks in time for the weekend to begin.
We're all aware that Beyoncé can do whatever the hell she wants and this time she wanted to get her groove on in some interesting grey y-fronts on a hotel balcony. The video for '7/11' has a handmade quality to it, flitting back and forth, dancing in varies rooms of a huge hotel suite (including one room decorated for Christmas with Beyoncé sized presents around the tree) and a lot of costume changes.
Check out the video below and get practising some of her moves ready for the hitting the dance floor with the girls this weekend.
The second track released is a lot more laid back and is sure to re-fuel those divorce rumours however, many believe it to be about her parents divorce rather than her own relationship. 'Ring Off' is the kind of track to soothe you through the weekend after some serious Beyoncé based dance-offs.
All about dreamy bohemian dressing mixed with a quintessentially rock & roll attitude. Available from Zalando & Topshop, Oxford Circus.
