Spring has truly arrived and now it's time to turn your SS17 styling up a gear. We all know the key trends to focus on this season, and so many of our favourite editorials gracing the pages of this month's magazines give an insight into how to style up the freshest Spring looks with the perfect amount of edge and attitude. Today marks International Women's Day. A day to celebrate women's achievements, successes and to encourage discussion of gender equality.
So often, the ladies above are our muses, our icons and our inspiration here at NAVY. So we've picked out a handful of quotes by some of the women above, as well as a few others, to give you motivation on this day. A year has passed since the world collectivity mourned the loss of the one and only David Bowie. With January 8th the day that Bowie would have turned 70, we are instead marking the one year anniversary of his death on January 10th instead.

2016 sees the 40th anniversary of Punk and brings a series of events, exhibitions and workshops to London, celebrating all things punk. And one pitstop we'll be checking out along the way is an exhibition at the Michael Hoppen Gallery, just of Kings Road, London. The home of the era, where would punk be without Kings Road?

Gothic influences are still an important influence upon the world of fashion. Photographer Tim Zaragoza and model Victoria Anderson, take a vamped up trip through a derelict mansion for this gothic editorial for Grazia Italy.

If you were one those lucky few that got to witness PJ Harvey recording her newest music as part of a week long residency at Somerset House last year, then you'll no doubt be happy to hear a preview of the album has just been released. If you didn't manage to make it to her voyeuristic Recording in Progress live exhibit, you can finally can get an opportunity to listen to the fruits of PJ Harvey's artistic endeavour.

Layering lace, a-line silhouettes and monochrome tones were all important elements spotted on the runways of Balenciaga, McQueen and Moncler Gamme Rouge to name but a few. Whilst Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton were on hand to show us that the 70s is still a key influence for 2016, combining attitude, lace, lo-fi fashion and punk vibes in style.
