NAVY London Blog
So Queen Bey has just dropped two new tracks in time for the weekend to begin.

We're all aware that Beyoncé can do whatever the hell she wants and this time she wanted to get her groove on in some interesting grey y-fronts on a hotel balcony. The video for '7/11' has a handmade quality to it, flitting back and forth, dancing in varies rooms of a huge hotel suite (including one room decorated for Christmas with Beyoncé sized presents around the tree) and a lot of costume changes.

Check out the video below and get practising some of her moves ready for the hitting the dance floor with the girls this weekend.

The second track released is a lot more laid back and is sure to re-fuel those divorce rumours however, many believe it to be about her parents divorce rather than her own relationship. 'Ring Off' is the kind of track to soothe you through the weekend after some serious Beyoncé based dance-offs.

This weekend just got a whole lot more fierce.

Who runs the world? Beyoncé does.

Last night we saw Beyoncé bring the MTV Video Music Awards to a standstill whilst uniting the world with an almost 20 minute medley of her last album accompanied with the fiercest of performances.
Rocking a specially made jewelled Tom Ford body suit, Beyonce dominated the stage, with a simple but effective routine full to the brim with some top Beyoncé showmanship and perfect choreography as we have come to expect. But no one can deny that her acceptance of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award was the true highlight. Presented by her husband Jay Z and their adorable daughter Blue, it reduced Bey to tears and most of the audience watching too.
Now, we know that Beyoncé is a fan of NAVY London and us fans of her too, so we'll be sure to be watching her performance over and over again. Check out the full show below and you may even spot Queen Bey wearing our Florence Vest in the background whilst singing Blue. Or see Beyonce behind the scenes when filming Blue here.

With Coachella less that a week away we are totally vibing festival fashion in the NAVY office.

Coachella marks the start of festival season around the world and we’re planning our festival looks already.

Our Florence Vest is a festival must have. Dreamy, floaty and bohemian, it is Coachella perfect. We think it should be rocked with a festival fashion staple, some classic denim shorts teamed with a boho bikini underneath and some chic sandals. Accessorise with these awesome sunglasses from Topshop. These Palm Tree Sunnies have Coachella written all over them and the round frames are bang on trend for the Summer season. Who doesn’t love a good pair or round sunnies?!

Pile yourself high with jewellery to complete the look. We adore these Orelia bracelets, we want them all! You’ll be spoilt for choice when choosing from their range of awesome friendship bracelets, charm bracelets, tasseled bracelets and more. Stack as many as you can on your wrists and you can’t go wrong.

For all those who are heading to Coachella, make sure you stop by Topshop in LA where you can now pick up our best festival pieces from NAVY London in time for weekend 1 or weekend 2.

Coachella here we come!

Yonce. Beyoncé. Queen Bey. Sasha Fierce! Whatever you call her, she is on the road to world domination at the moment and we just can’t get enough.

Last Summer whilst in London, Beyoncé popped in store early one morning and browsed our NAVY London collection. Now, we love a bit of Beyoncé so we were thrilled when she personally picked out a few pieces to take away with her!

Unbeknown to us AND the rest of the World, she was actually in the midst of planning a musical coup with the preparations for her surprise Visual Album. Which, when released last December took the world by storm, crashing iTunes in the process!

At the NAVY offices we of course listened to the whole album straight away and fell in love with the last song, ‘Blue, feat. Blue Ivy’. A beautiful melodic tune showing Beyoncé’s softer, more maternal side with Blue Ivy featured singing along with her mother! But what we love the most about this tune is that Beyoncé wears our very own Florence Lace Vest throughout the whole music video!
Behind the Scenes of the Blue music video
And no one can deny she looks stunning in it. Teaming it with a bikini and denim shorts, she has us dreaming of summer time and beautiful beaches. Listen to the 30 second preview of ‘Blue' below or head to iTunes to download the album for yourself.

With lace sticking around as a big trend throughout S/S and A/W 2014, why not grab yourself a piece of Beyoncé’s personal style curtesy of NAVY London. Our Florence Lace Vest comes in both white or black options and is available for just £39 at Topshop, Oxford Circus.
