Primavera Sound
1. Primavera Sound
2nd - 4th June, Barcelona
You may have tried Sónar and Benicassim before, but this year Primavera is by far Spain's best festival. Set on a industrial park with the waves of the Mediterranean sea only a stones throw away. This festival gets underway in the afternoon, (PJ Harvey, Suede and Radiohead are key acts to see here), leaving plenty of time to explore the streets of Barcelona itself. A city break and festival all wrapped up in one!

Isle of Wight
2. Isle of Wight Festival
9th - 12th June, Isle of Wight
This iconic festival is celebrating '40 Years of Punk'. Think Adam Ant, Iggy Pop, The Damned, Buzzcocks and so much more. Hell yes. We don't think that there is a better year to experience this world renowned festival, right?

3. Field Day
11th June - 12th June, London
If you can't make it to the Isle of Wight, then pop along to Field Day, a two day festival in London's Victoria Park. Featuring another festival appearance from PJ Harvey, as well as Air, James Blake and Beach House to name just a few. A chilled out city festival full of fun village fate games, and you can go sleep in your own bed at the end of the day as well!

Secret Solstice
4. Secret Solstice
17th - 19th June, Iceland
In the country that has an endless summer, as the days roll on and on without the moon making an appearance. What better place than Iceland for a summer festival. Secret Solstice has gone big this year, with Radiohead as the headliners, a party boat taking you out into the ocean to watch the sun touch down on the horizon before raising straight back up to start the next day, hot tubs and all the incredible landscape of Iceland to offer as well!

Glastonbury
5. Glastonbury
22nd June - 26th June, Somerset
Where would we be without Glastonbury? One of the world's biggest music festivals which draws hundreds of thousands of festival goers year on year - selling out in around 30 minutes! Glasto is a mini-city, (the size of Bournemouth) with so much on offer you will struggle to even see it all. A key date on our calendars here at NAVY HQ.

6. Wilderness
4th - 7th August, Oxfordshire
A stylish boutique festival in the luscious green countryside of Oxfordshire. Take a dip in the lake to refresh yourself each morning, take yoga classes, eat at the finest dinner parties and party on late into the night. Wilderness becomes classier year on year!

Flow
7. Flow
12th - 14th August, Helsinki
This hip Finnish festival will bring Iggy Pop, Savages, Massive Attack, Jamie XX and Chvrches together for the coolest Scandi fest of 2016. A colourful festival, set on the site of an old power plant, and after all the dancing, you can relax in saunas ready for the next day to begin!

8. Lollapalooza
10th - 11th September, Berlin
One of America's most famous city festival is heading to Europe once more. End the summer in one of Europe's coolest cities and get lost in Lollapalooza - Berlin style.
