NEW YORK NEW YORK

New York Fashion is in full swing. So far, we have been transfixed by Gareth Pugh's immersive performance show, a heady mixture of British folklore and futuristic mediums.

We were left dreaming about Tadashi Shoji's sleek and sophisticated collection of flowing lace gowns mixed with boxy lace two-piece style dresses. A soothing and sleek runway show which left us wanting to skip AW14 and throw ourselves head first into Spring. Our other highlight of NYFW so far is Tome's mixture of a lace pencil skirt and mesh bomber jacket. Blending textures and fashion styles and proving just how much it works.

This weekend keep an eye on DKNY's Sunday show. We adored it's punchy pre-collection and hope to see more street smart looks full of texture, layers and attitude.

But this is only the beginning. Bring on London Fashion Week (our favourite of course) followed by Milan and Paris.
